The leadership body of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology meet with the President of the country

The leadership body of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology led by Shahzad Aryobee met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E.Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

At first, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology provided detailed information to the President of the country about the national electronic identity documents project, security of information systems and e-government.

He then shared his suggestions on upgrading working capacity, as well as provided an outline of the future plans of the MCIT.

H. E. the president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said that since, our country has not become an information society yet, there must be certain percentages of measurement In the business affairs of projects.

The President added that the state-owned electronic system should be developed and ICT should be included into the educational curriculum in order to promote modern science and information technology in our country.

At the same time, the President directed the leadership of MCIT that nation have to see the result of information technology in practice, and he emphasized a national technology center to be created so that we can use the center nationally for next generations in the future.
